My journey through Rajkot began at Kaba Gandhi No Delo, the childhood home of Mahatma Gandhi. Walking through its narrow lanes and entering the haveli felt like stepping back in time. The photographs, letters, and belongings whispered stories of Bapu’s early life and simple values.

Meri Rajkot yatra ki shuruaat hui Kaba Gandhi No Delo se, jo Mahatma Gandhi ka bachpan ka ghar tha. Purani galiyon se hote hue haveli ke andar jaana aisa tha jaise main samay mein peeche laut gaya hoon. Yahan ki tasveerein aur purane samaan Gandhi ji ki zindagi ki kahani sunate hain.

🏛️ Watson Museum

English:
Next, I visited the Watson Museum, nestled inside Jubilee Garden. The museum displayed sculptures, artifacts, coins, and textiles that told the rich history of Saurashtra. Each gallery felt like a chapter of Gujarat’s glorious past.

Agla stop tha Watson Museum, jo Jubilee Garden ke andar hai. Yahan ke sculptures, sikke, aur kapde Gujarat aur Saurashtra ke itihaas ko zinda kar dete hain. Har gallery ek alag kahani sunati hai.

🪆 Rotary Dolls Museum

English:
Then came a colorful surprise—the Rotary Dolls Museum. Dolls from over 100 countries stood beautifully dressed, showcasing cultures from around the world. It felt like traveling the globe without leaving Rajkot.

Hinglish:
Phir main gaya Rotary Dolls Museum. Yahan 100 se zyada deshon ki dolls rakhi hui thi, sab apne traditional kapdon mein saj-dhaj kar. Aisa laga jaise bina Rajkot chhode main duniya ghoom aaya hoon.

🌳 Jubilee Garden

After exploring museums, I strolled into Jubilee Garden. The greenery, fountains, and peaceful paths made it a perfect spot to relax. Families and children added life to the evening.

Hinglish:
Museums dekhne ke baad main ghoomta hua Jubilee Garden pahuncha. Haryali, fountains aur shaant raste ekdum fresh kar dene wale the. Shaam ko families aur bachche yahan ghoomte dikhai diye, jisse garden aur zyada zinda lag raha tha.

🐯 Pradhyuman Zoo

English:
The next morning began with adventure at the Pradhyuman Zoo. Lions, leopards, and many rare animals roamed in large enclosures. The sound of birds and animals made the visit lively and exciting.

Hinglish:
Agli subah ki shuruaat hui Pradhyuman Zoo se. Yahan sher, tendua aur anek rare janwar apni jagaon par dikhai diye. Pakshiyon ki aawaaz aur janwaron ki garaj ne zoo ka maza aur badha diya.

💧 Nyari Dam

English:
Seeking calm, I went to Nyari Dam. The vast water body, cool breeze, and scenic view made it the perfect spot to unwind. It was nature’s way of slowing me down.

Hinglish:
Shaanti ki talaash mein main gaya Nyari Dam. Yahan ka paani, thandi hawa aur sundar drishya ne mann ko shaant kar diya. Yeh prakriti ki ek khubsoorat baat-cheet jaisi thi.

🇮🇳 Rashtriya Shala

English:
My journey in Rajkot ended at the historic Rashtriya Shala, an institution started during the freedom movement. Today, it continues to teach handloom weaving and khadi making—keeping Gandhi’s vision alive.

Hinglish:
Meri Rajkot yatra ka ant hua Rashtriya Shala par, jo azaadi andolan ke samay shuru hua tha. Aaj bhi yahan khadi aur handloom ki kala sikhayi jaati hai. Gandhi ji ka sapna yahan ab bhi zinda hai.

Kaba Gandhi No Delo aur Rashtriya Shala history lovers ke liye must-visit hain.
Rotary Dolls Museum especially bachchon aur families ko bahut pasand aata hai.
